Recommended Resources for Starting Piano Lessons
Adjustable Piano Bench - why get an adjustable bench? Everyone's physique is different! You may need to sit lower or higher depending on how tall your torso is, and an adjustable bench is the best friend of every amateur and professional pianist. This one is by no means the best (there's a lot of options out there!) but it's a good go-to for students who need something basic. Faux leather, storage inside the bench, and ample padding make it a nice starter bench.
Seiko SQ50-V Quartz Metronome - while there are many metronome options that work, this one is small, simple, and requires only a battery. Volume control makes this one very convenient.

Adult Piano Adventures All-in-One Piano Course Book 1: Book with Media Online - a great starting method for the adult beginner, comprehensive in theory, technique, and reading.
Supersonics Piano Method: Quick Start A - another fantastic book for the older school-age or adult piano student. Highly recommended for their fun songs and intuitive, quick-paced approach. Available on their website or via Amazon.com.
